| Description |
| The SRA is a single premium, tax-deferred, market value |
| adjusted (MVA) annuity that gives you the opportunity to |
| choose your MVA term at the time of purchase and also |
| at renewal. You can select a 3, 5, 7, 9, or 10 year term. |
| Upon the expiration of your initial MVA term, American |
| General automatically renews your contract for the same |
| term unless you choose a different term by notifying Am- |
| erican General, in writing, before the end of your current |
| MVA term. Higher interest rates are paid for longer MVA |
| terms. |
